When two dynamic country music acts unite, sparks are bound to fly! Australia’s most admired and sought-after country music entertainer Jayne Denham is set to release her new single “Are You Ready For This” with Australia’s five-piece country rock band Hurricane Fall. Written by powerhouse US songwriters Jon Randall, Miranda Lambert and Jessi Alexander, the single is a wild, loud, and rockin’ song that will get any party started.
“Getting the party started Country Rock Songs have always been my jam. I love recording them the most as I can always picture it live with a wild country crowd. So as soon as I heard “Are You Ready For This”, I just had to cut it. To then find out it was written by Jon Randall, Miranda Lambert and Jessi Alexander, it made total sense as to why I instantly gravitated to it. Written as a duet, I was stoked when Hurricane Fall were keen to come on board to record it with me as they sure know how to rock.
You never quite know how voices will sound together till you hit the studio, so Jesse, Pepper and I were rapt with how well our voices sounded together and Luke’s guitar…well, say no more, it sure did add something special to the track! Produced by Brian White and Brian Bunn, the track has been created to fit the prohibition era music style that my new album ‘Moonshine’ is based on. Since performing together at various Australian festivals, Jayne, Pepper, and Jesse’s voices have all sonically blended with their edgy rock sound. Mixing them together has created something very special, unique and electric.

For Denham, “Are You Ready For This” comes hot on the tail of previous 2023 hit singles “Moonshine” and “Stunt Double”. Hurricane Fall have released two highly successful songs this year including “Unbreakable” and are currently promoting their latest high energy track “Hoedown” which saw the song added to Spotify editorial playlist ‘Fresh Country’.
“Are You Ready For This” is sure to make Jayne’s fourth single a hit from her upcoming album ‘Moonshine’. Both Jayne Denham and Hurricane Fall are hitting the road for shows for the remainder of 2023.
They will both be at The Beach House COUNTRY in Hervey Bay on November 18, 2023.
