ABC COUNTRY The Groundwater Country Music Festival is one of the key events on any country music fan's calendar.
Kasey Chambers is one of our country's finest ever voices, and the way she can make even the biggest of shows feel intimate and special is awe-inspiring. Bring your finest singing voice when she plays beside the beach this October.
A few international guests will be in town to play the festival. Canadian sensation Tim Hicks makes his way back down under for the first time since his CMC slot back in 2016. He's had some massive songs since then, so it's exciting to get a chance to catch him again. Fellow Canadian (via Traralgon) Gord Bamford will also hit Groundwater 2024.
The legendary Jim Lauderdale returns to Australia this October for his first ever Groundwater appearance. This guy has released over 30 albums and written songs that have been covered by everyone from George Strait to Elvis Costello to the Dixie Chicks: he's one of the great country songwriters of our time.
